Irish Hiking Scarf

I am knitting this Irish Hiking Scarf from my grandma for Christmas. The pattern is here It's in knitpicks' wool of the andes (100% peruvian wool). I love how it is turning out and I love the color. Will post more pics when it is finished.

Men's Cashmere (Alpaca) scarf from LMKG

I found this pattern in a book called Last Minute Knitted Gifts. Well, kind of. You can actually find the pattern here since it was completely wrong in the book. I think this is a stitch called broken rib.

Anyway, this scarf was knit in knitpicks' decadence, which is a 100% alpaca scarf. I'm giving it to my grandpa for Christmas.

I knit the scarf about 60" long and then I blocked it (by putting water all over it and then laying it on a towel and shaping it). It's now about 70" long. Who knew it would do that?! So it's a nice long scarf and alpaca is supposed to be really nice and warm. Hopefully this will help to ease Grandpa's transition from Florida winters to Michigan winters. 000_0114

Kaitlyn's snowflake illusion scarf

I finished Kaitlyn's scarf in wool-ease. The white yarn is sparkly....and then I added sparkly fun fur trim too. It turned out cute. 000_0111

Snowflake scarf in Lion Brand Jiffy

Right now I am working on a 'snowflake illusion scarf'. You can see it on this page: snowflake illusion scarf This completed one in Lion Brand 'Jiffy' was (accidentally) for Seung-ho. The one I'm working on for Kaitlyn is smaller and is done in Lion Brand wool ease. It even has sparkles in the yarn.

Seung-ho says it's the best thing I've made so far. :) 000_0106
